융합기술 개발연구의 실현과정

First, this study reviewed why the concepts of technology convergence, technology integration, and interdisciplinarity came to currently attract more attention in the arena of science and technology. We find that those concepts have been defined mainly in view of ‘meaning analysis’ type by/for grouping particular instances, and so, provide no useful insight on effectively developing converging, integrative or interdisciplinary technology. Second, this study introduced a new concept of ‘unifying/unified technology,’ derived from a theory of (collective) behavior per se, and then, elaborated on a new social science paradigm that is vital to realize it. Finally, we came to understand the significance of not only realizing “teamwork” but also developing its “compositional capability” to accomplish ‘unified (innovative) technology.’
