Spatial Structures Programming for Music

We survey works and applications of visual programming for the control of sound spatialization in the OpenMusic computer-aided composition environment. Several salient aspects of the control and spatialization processes are described, such as the high-level description of spatial sound scenes, their unfolding in musical or computational time flows, as well as the concept of spatial sound synthesis.
