Baseline Management Model Based on PDM Enablers and Application in Concurrent Engineering

Baseline is the collection of items and relationships between them. Baseline is becoming more and more important in Product Data Management (PDM) because of increase of complexity and evolvement of information. The baseline management module based on PDM Enablers can be met needs of concurrent engineering. In the paper, the concept of baseline is introduced firstly, the structure of concurrent engineering is presented secondly, baseline model and its application is then discussed.
