A method for recording and reproducing encrypted data of an optical disk is provided to solve a problem of illegal duplication by automatically creating an encryption code and recording the code on the optical disk after the optical disk is recorded with the encrypted data. A method for recording and reproducing encrypted data of an optical disk comprises a first step of generating an inherent encryption code when a dada recording mode for the optical disk is set(S11), a second step of recording data encrypted using the encryption code on the optical disc(S12), and a third step of recording the encryption code in a predetermined region of the optical disk(S15). The method further includes a step of generating the encryption code using an identifier of the optical disc and an arbitrary random number.
