Routage avec Qualité de Service dans les Réseaux Mobiles Ad Hoc

Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning is one of the major problems in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). A good solution of QoS is generally built upon several blocks including QoS routing. In the few last years, substantial research effort has gone into the development of QoS routing algorithms for MANETs and have shown that this task is not trivial because the network topology constantly changes and state information available for routing remains imprecise. In this work, we propose a QoS version of the pro-active Ad-Hoc routing protocol OLSR (Optimized Link State Protocol). Our solution called QS-OLSR (QoS for OLSR) has as a main brick an algorithm which allows to select the best set MPR (multipoint relays) that meets the criteria of a good quality of service in terms of maximum bandwidth and minimum delay. The simulation results in OPNET Modeler targeting applications with high QoS constraints have shown a significant performance improvement in terms of end to end delay, throughput and jitter compared to the original version of OLSR.
