As one of the most important parts of the engine, the low-pressure compressor blades are easily damaged by the impact of foreign objects. In this paper, a compressor blade hard object impact experiment was carried out based on acoustic emission (AE) technology, then the AE signals of the blade under different impact energy were acquired, and the change rule of acoustic emission characteristic parameters under different impact energy was analyzed. The AE signals were analyzed by wavelet packet technology and energy entropy theory, the relation between the impact energy and the wavelet packet energy entropy of the AE signals were obtained. The results provide a new approach to the impact monitoring of engine blades using acoustic emission technology.
