A study aims to propose the energy conservational measures for energy factors on roof in order to reduce heating and cooling load of automotive factory building. In this paper, energy factors are shape of roof, insulation performance of envelope, and surface properties. Then reduction of heating and cooling load are evaluated according as applicable design parameters for roof of automotive factory building. Analysis showed that it favorable to heating and cooling load when building has flat roof, urethane and increased insulation thickness. The higher the reflectance of surface properties, heating load increase and cooling load decrease. But decreasing rate of cooling load is more higher.
