Emergence and Development of Grey System Theory and Its Forward Trends

The scientific background that grey system theory comes into being, the basic concept, the main content of grey system theory and its tremendous influences on academic circles at home and abroad are discussed in this paper. Several scientific questions that should be taken and furthermore studied in the grey system field are put forward.
