Sparse equivalent source method for radiated emission analysis of shielded circuits

This paper proposes a sparse equivalent source method to predict radiated emission of shielded circuits. Based on equivalence principle, it is shown that radiation by shielded circuits can be computed from spatially sparse equivalent magnetic currents. Sparse source reconstruction is then used to solve the sparse equivalent magnetic currents from near field scanning. Simulation results show significant accuracy improvement by considering the sparse nature of the equivalent magnetic currents.
