METODOLOGÍA PARA EL ANÁLISIS DE UN SISTEMA DE REFRIGERACIÓN REDISEÑADO PARA UN MOTOR DIESEL

This paper deals with the utilization of a commercial computational program (thermal- hydraulic simulation software) to perform the analysis of an engine cooling system. The hydraulic and thermal characteristics of cooling system components have been processed from the manufacturer specification data and input to the "simulation software" so as to compare the results of the simulation with the results of the experimental data. Comparisons of predictions and measurements reveal a good correspondence, proving the suitability of the model to be used as a design tool.
