Research on the Interpolation Technology of CNC System

Abstract In order to improve the control performance and control precision of CNC system, an interpolation technology is proposed in this study. First, spline fitting method which can express the original CAD shape is analyzed. Then, interpolation technology which combined with accelerate and decelerate control is proposed. Finally, we use an example to illustrate the proposed method. Experimental results have shown that the proposed approach is able to guarantee the nanometer interpolation precision.
