Influencia de la infestación de "Cydia fagiglandana" (Zeller) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) en la caída del fruto de la encina

San. Veg. Plagas, 28: 213-216.Cydia fagiglandana (Zeller) (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae) is a important insect pest ofchestnut and acorns fruits. During the larva phase it feeds on the inside of the acorns,causing damages of difficult evaluation in the annual crops of acorns and chestnut. Theirdamages in fruit are: losses of weight, decrease of the germinative capacity and prema-ture fall of fruits to the ground.In this paper we made an assessment of the effect of the attack of C. fagiglandanain the premature fall of the fruit of the oak in an Andalusian estate.
