This study includes installation of Instron 4505, modification of the existing pullout box, evaluation of frictional characteristics of three types of woven and nonwoven geotextiles by pullout tests and evaluation of a proposed test method for measurement of deformation of different types of needle punched fabrics when subjected to uniaxial loading.
