Down device for a fuel injector and fuel injector

The hold-down device according to the invention for a fuel injection device is distinguished by a particularly simple design which still allows a very effective suppression of a fuel injector (1). The fuel injection device comprises at least one fuel injection valve (1), a receiving bore for the fuel injection valve (1) and a connecting piece (6) of a fuel distributor line (4), wherein the holding-down device (10) between a shoulder (12) of the fuel injection valve (1) and an end face (14) of the connecting piece (6) is clamped. The hold-down (10) has a partially annular base element (11), of which from bent extends an axially resilient hold-down clip (13), the at least two webs (21), two oblique portions (22) and two bearing sections (23). The fuel injection valve (1) is particularly suitable for use in fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing spark-ignition internal combustion engines.
