Liquefying Fuel in Hybrid Propulsion : First Step Towards a 1D Model

This paper presents the main hypothesis and equations needed in the establishment of a 1D regression model for liquefying fuels in hybrid propulsion in the particular case of a 2D planar flow without combustion. This model is based on an integral description of the aerothermical flow coupled with a one equation model for the liquid film. The validation of this model is made possible thanks to the HYCARRE facility whose description and first results are provided at the end of this paper.
