Effect of deuteration on the dynamical dielectric properties of DSP

Abstract Complex dielectric constants of Ca2Sr(C2H5CO2)6 (DSP) and Ca2Sr(C2D5CO2)6 (DDSP) were investigated around the Curie temperature T c, and the II - III phase transition temperature T t in the frequency range from 10 Hz to 1 GHz. No appreciable effect of deuteration was detected in the dielectric dispersion around T c and T t, in contrast with the case of the spontaneous polarization.
