A modulation-oriented piecewise harmonic-balance technique suitable for transient analysis and digitally modulated signals

The paper presents the theoretical foundations for an approximate form of the piecewise harmonicbalance technique, suitable for the analysis of nonlinear microwave circuits driven by slowly modulated signals. Possible applications include transient RF regimes and analog processing of digitally modulated carners.
