THE EFFECT OF SHIP MOTIONS ON THE DYNAMIC BEHAVIOUR OF A BEAM TRAWL

This paper summarises the results of a research project the aim of which was to answer the following questions: does a beam trawlgear bounce off the seabottom due to ship motions and if it does, what are the most important parameters influencing this behaviour.
