How Does Anesthetic Induction Change

麻酔導入時の筋弛緩薬は現在ベクロニウムが用いられることが多い. スキサメトニウムはその副作用から敬遠される傾向にあるものの, 1分程度で挿管可能となるため急速導入時に依然として広く使用されている. ロクロニウムは欧米ではすでに10年以上前から臨床使用され, 挿管までの時間をスキサメトニウムと同程度に短縮することが可能な非脱分極性筋弛緩薬であるが, 投与量の増加により作用持続時間は延長する. スガマデクスは, 抗コリンエステラーゼ薬とはまったく別の薬理作用で, ロクロニウムまたはベクロニウムによる神経筋遮断を迅速に拮抗する. 深い筋弛緩状態からの回復が可能となり, 筋弛緩薬の使用法を大きく変化させる可能性がある.
