Analysis of PHWR LP Turbine Steady State Using RELAP/SCDAP Code

Abstract In the present work the steady state conditions for the LP turbine used in the steam cycle of PHWR is analyzed using the RELAP/SCDAP code. The LP turbine containing five stages is simulated. The mass flow rate, pressure and quality of each stage is checked. It is observed that the code is successfully simulating all the stages of the turbine.
