STRATEGIC CAPABILITIES FOR MASS CUSTOMIZATION: THEORETICAL SYNTHESIS AND EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE.

We propose a theoretically-motivated set of requisite strategic capabilities for Mass Customization, namely Solution Space Definition Capability, Robust Process and Supply Chain Design Capability and Choice Simplification Capability. Based on this re-conceptualization, we build our model and empirically validate it with a multiple indicators-multiple causes structural model (i.e., MIMIC).
