Application of nanoceutical technology for fast and efficient control of illness

Abstract The application of nanoceutical has been highlighted as a new paradigm shift that could help in the manipulation of properties of substances close to the molecular level. They could also help in encapsulation and delivery of substances to target sites as well as increase the bioavailability of phytochemicals, heighten the enjoyment of flavors, incorporate antibacterial nanoparticles into food, increase the longevity/stability of the products, and enhance the food storage. They could also help in the effective delivery of nanosized nutrients and supplements which will enhance the nutritional value of food. Therefore, this chapter intends to provide a general overview of the application of nanoceutical for the management of critical illness and effective management of diseases and tropical illnesses. Detailed information on the modes of action on the synthesis and characterization of nanoceutical was also highlighted.
