Substrate integrated waveguide quasi-elliptic filter using extracted-pole technique

In this paper, a novel substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) quasi-elliptic filter using extracted-pole technique is proposed. The filter is fabricated on a substrate with the standard PCB process, which takes the advantage of low cost and high selectivity. Simulated and experimental results of a four-pole inline filter with one transmission zero at every side of the passband are presented.
