At present rice quality assessment is an important and necessary activity before the rice market. Although until now the rice quality inspection is done manually (visually) by a qualified inspector / manager who has expertise and experience, but this way has its weaknesses, namely: (1) the subjectivity factor causing bias among the observers with other observers , (2) the physical exhaustion when observers worked too long that the observations are not consistent, (3) the time required for a relatively long observation. In connection with the above problems, we need a way to identify quality rice fast, accurate and easy to operate, thus increasing efficiency. Under these constraints it is a system that can assist in determining the quality and price of rice based on existing regulations. The system was developed to implement the method of Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) Tsukamoto. Determination of variable quality and valuation parameters based on interviews in PASKOMNAS (National Commodity Market). namely: grain heads, broken grain, grain and grain moisture content. This application can help managers to make decisions and the quality of rice prices in accordance with the valuation inputs, from samples taken at random, and then processed and produce the quality and price of rice. Assessment results can be seen by the seller.
