Spatial Impedance Control in Coordinated Manipulation

Abstract This paper presents a generalized impedance technic applied to multirobot manipulation. The impedance control is defined over SE(3), allowing to take into account the position and orientation structure and coupling in a natural way. The paper presents both the theoretical results and their implementation for a position-controlled multirobot system. Special attention is given to the discretization of the equations.
