A class AB CMOS square-rooting circuit

An integrable CMOS square-rooting circuit based on a class AB configuration is described. The circuit achieves a wide dynamic range and a wide-band capability. The accuracy of the circuit is also high over the entire dynamic range. Simulation and experimental results demonstrating the characteristic of the proposed circuit are also included.
