Heat transfer in packed beds
暂无分享,去创建一个
The heat transfer between a fluid flowing through a packed bed and the wall is interpreted according to a one-dimensional model characterized by an overall heat transfer coefficient, hw and by two-dimensional models with one parameter, the effective thermal conductivity, ke or two parameters, the effective thermal conductivity λe and the wall heat transfer coefficient αw. The experimental results for hw, ke λc and αw are correlated as a function of Reynolds number, packing and tube diameter. The correlations with respect to the Reynolds number are all linear. Correlations between the parameters of the various models are also given.
