Method of Managing Stations in the Wireless LAN

PURPOSE: A station management method in a wireless LAN is provided to implement an optimum BSS construction and an effective BSS management in a wireless LAN by performing a communication between access points in a wireless LAN network construction and performing a proper station distribution of the access point. CONSTITUTION: A stare of a BSS information table constructed in an access point is informed to an access point of the ESS(S1). Each access point transfer the beacon to the stations(S2). A new station of the first and the second BSS receive a beacon from each access point(S3). An information carried in the beacon frame is analyzed(S4). A test request is applied to each access point(S5). Each access point receives a test request from a new station(S6), and the BSS information table is searched(S7), and the BSS information table state is carried in the test response and is broadcasted(S8). The new station receives a test request from each access point(S9), and the access points which broadcasted the test response is checked, and an access request is broadcasted(S10). Each access points receives an access request from a new station(S11). The number of the stations connected with itself is checked. It is checked whether the number of the current access stations is more than the number of the limit stations(S12).
