Dynamic Approaches — Issues and Methods: An Overview

Conventional risk and reliability assessment methodologies are static in nature and have potential weaknesses when applied to dynamic process systems. An overview of these weaknesses, issues that need to be dealt with in a dynamic analysis and methodologies that have been proposed to address these issues is provided.
