Evaluation for distributed photovoltaic generation system efficiency

Large-scale popularization and integration of distributed photovoltaic generation has proposed higher requirements for the evaluation and promotion of photovoltaic generation system efficiency. In this paper, the efficiency evaluation index system of photovoltaic generation system is established based on five aspects: natural resources, electricity, consumption, equipment operation level and economic benefit. The calculation methods of photovoltaic generation system efficiency are presented. Afterwards, an evaluation methodology of distributed photovoltaic generation system efficiency is developed, which is based on the Standard Deviation and the Grey Correlation Determines evaluating the generation efficiency of different sites at the same time, and the generation efficiency of a single station at different time periods. Based on the evaluation results, this paper analyzes the efficiency of distributed photovoltaic generation stations in the northeastern China as a case study. In case of low efficiency at some time periods and sites, the corresponding promotion strategies are discussed to improve the system efficiency and to ensure the maximum efficiency of generation operation.
