Parallel Power Grid Simulation on Platforms with Multi Core Processors

This article discusses performance issues of parallel power grid simulation on multi core platform.Power grid model is proposed, problem of numerical simulation is described.Scalable simulation approach is based on using threaded linear solvers from Intel MKL package for subsequent sparse linear problem solution.
