Prospective Validation of Raman Spectroscopy Algorithms for the Diagnosis of Breast Cancer

Prospective-validation of new diagnostic-algorithm is crucial for clinical-implementation of it as a diagnostic-tool. A previously developed Raman-algorithm was successfully tested on 48 patients, resulting in sensitivity, specificity and NPV of 78%, 98%, and 98%, respectively.
