A Spectrum Prediction Method Based on Markov Chain Underwater

With the rapid development of the modern information technology and ocean exploitation,the demand for underwater acoustic communication is increasing.However,due to the special underwater environment,it is extremely shortage of the available bandwidth and large transmission delay in the underwater acoustic communication.Therefore,this paper proposes a spectrum prediction method based on Markov chain in cognitive underwater acoustic communication,then uses MATLAB to simulate this method and analyzes its performance.The simulation results show that,compared with the situation under no spectrum prediction,this method can effectively reduce the data collision probability and improve the channel utilization and the channel-access accuracy of the nodes.
