Research of Identify the Color by a Color Sensor Combined Elman Neural Network

Due to the fast recognize and high accuracy of OPB780 color sensor,we proposed a research combined with Elman neural network for color recognizing.First,we adopt the OPB780 programmable color sensor to design a non-contact color detected circuit,further with measuring RGB values frequency of the card set.By using the measured frequency matched with RGB color space,we can built The Elman neural network reflecting the relationship between them.Then,in order to unify the result between the belonged category of target color and the fuzzy result observed by eyes we can use CIE1976Lab color space and aberration formula,and calculate the chromatic aberration between the target color card and the eight Common colors,as well as identifying the color clustering of them according to the minimum chromatic aberration principle.Experiments have proofed that using the color sensor OPB780 combined with Elman neural network technology to classify colors has the same result as eyes,meanwhile it can reflect human psychological perception better and achieve good results.
