Research on the index systems for conceptual/preliminary design comprehensive evaluation of combat aircraft

The comprehensive evaluation for conceptual/preliminary design of combat aircraft is an important phase in the development of aircraft, and the establishment of the index system is an important basis for the evaluation. Factors that must be considered in the comprehensive evaluation will inevitably change with the development of combat aircraft. The mission capability, availability or operational readiness, wartime survivability, safety, affordability, and risk are put forward as the criteria of conceptual/preliminary design comprehensive evaluation of combat aircraft. Then the solution defining all evaluation indexes is presented. The results may render some support for the comprehensive evaluation and parameter trade-off analysis of the combat aircraft.
