Research on vector control system of synchronous motor based on RT-LAB

The control faults of converter system for steel rolling main drive affect production and safety of equipment.In order to analyze and solve these problems,we establish a set of rapid-controlprototyping real-time simulation system and variable-frequency drive equipment for the research.Firstly,the air gap flux-oriented vector control system of synchronous motor is designed based on the RT-LAB real-time simulation system.Then,the no-load and on-load experiments at rated speed are implemented by constructing the main circuit of AC-DC-AC three level converter and making the electrically excited salient-pole synchronous motor and the asynchronous motor mutual drag.The result shows that the system has good dynamic and static characteristic.The research achievement helps solving the faults of converters in steel rolling site and lays a solid foundation for developing converters.
