High-precision time synchronization based on common performance clock source

This paper is based on the common-view device of common performance clock source, which adopts a gap-free common-view method to solve the problem that the traditional satellite common-view can not meet the continuous comparison. Thus, it is possible to control the common performance clock source has achieved the time deviation with the standard time UTC (NTSC) is kept at a high precision time synchronization less than 10 ns. The common-view device is composed of a satellite card, a time interval counter, a main control module, and the clock source module and remote data transmission module. The clock source module adopts a constant temperature voltage controlled crystal oscillator, and is a clock source with low price and common performance. By performing a common-view comparison with the national standard time UTC (NTSC) under the short baseline and long baseline conditions of the common view device, according to the comparison result, the driving strategy is executed on the clock source to keep the output signal synchronize with the national standard time. The test results show that in the long baseline and short baseline, the time synchronization deviation between the clock source and the national standard time UTC (NTSC) can be less than 10 ns, and the standard deviation is better than 2 ns.
