Multi-criteria decision and multivariate statistical approaches improve olive supply chains: a review

The olive oil supply chain stages have been studied extensively in both EU and non-EU countries. Various decision-making approaches have been proposed to tackle the problem. This study reviews different individual and integrated approaches like multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA), multivariate and others to measure olive oil sector in different countries. The study provides insights for evaluating certain supply chain criteria using various methods. The finding will help in knowing the suitable approaches which have frequently been applied to solving the particular criteria. A few suggestions are recommended for researchers and decision makers who may apply MCDA methods more effectively.
