Analysis on Mechanical Behavior of Roll-shaft During Three-roll Planetary Rolling Process of Copper Tube

Rolling force is the source of load and incentive of the three-roll planetary rolling mill. The deformation and vibration of rolling mill structure caused by the rolling force during the rolling process will affect the quality of rolling. The value and the change law of the rolling force were obtained by using MSC.Marc software, based on the large deformation elastic-plastic finite element theory and the thermo-mechanical coupling analysis theory. On the basis of analysis of rolling force, the statics and dynamics analysis of roll shaft was carried out by using ANSYS Workbench software, and the maximum working stress, deformation, static and dynamic characteristics and the harmonic response curve under the effect of rolling force excitation of rolling shaft were obtained.
