Current Situation and Progress of Energy Efficiency Design Standards in Buildings in China

The paper briefly introduces the promulgated and developing standards for buildings in China. Also describes the barriers and countermeasures for promoting the energy efficiency efforts and finally the reform of payment for heating in the North of China which will promote the development of energy efficiency in buildings and related industries.
