Towards an Ontology for Distributed Manufacturing Control

This paper describes a solution for standardizing the structure and communication acting in a decentralized control architecture implemented through a multi-agent development framework. The standardization is done by defining an ontology that deals with syntactic and semantic validation of the content of exchanged messages.
