STUDY ON VARIABLE STRUCTURE ACTIVE CONTROL OVER ROTOR VIBRATION WITH SMA

Using the optimization control method of the moderm control theories,the time-varying control and output-feedback control the authors study the variable structure active control over the rotor vibration with SMA,especially the method of restraining the transient response of the rotor vibration.They get the rule of the optimum control force and the optimum control electric current and discuss the influence of variable stiffness on the total system stiffness through analyzing the structure of SMA controller.They also indicate the shortcoming of the orthodox design method of a controller,especially the imbalance phenomenon caused by the lack of the rod stability,and propose a new method for improvement and items which ought to be paid attention to in the design stage.
