개량형 각-관 열교환기를 사용한 열펌프의 성능에 관한 연구

In this study, the prototype of 5RT heat pump using the improved shell and tube heat exchanger was designed and tested. In the improved shell and tube heat exchanger, the outer shell is removed from the' conventional shell and tube heat exchanger, and screen is installed in front of the tubes to suppress fouling and to enhance the heat transfer. Thermal performances such as discharge heat, power input, coefficient of performance are measured and compared with those of the conventional shell and tube heat exchanger. The COPs of the present heat exchanger are higher than those of conventional shell and tube heat exchanger in the higher water flow. The improved shell and tube heat exchanger can be used to recover the unutilized energy from the river water and sewage treatment water.
