Adaptive Variable Structure Controller Design for Large-Scale Systems with Bounded Disturbances

In this paper we want to investigate the adaptive control problem of a large-scale system with parameter variations and bounded disturbances. Based on system identification algorithm, functional analysis technique, and the characteristics of variable-structure systems, we synthesize a variable-structure adaptive controller which can tolerate the effects of coupling and system parameter variations and achieve the object of tracking reference signals in the presence of bounded disturbances.
