Linking data from different sources to estimate the risk of a collision when using a cell phone while driving

The objectives of the presentation are to review the methodology and results of three epidemiological studies that linked data from different sources to estimate the risk of a collision when using a cell phone while driving. Two of these studies used the case-crossover design and one used a more conventional epidemiological cohorts design. An emphasis is put on major differences between these two designs, their strengths and weaknesses.
