Raman scattering spectra of the triple cation salt Li2NaK(SO4)2

Single crystals of Li2NaK(SO4)2 were grown at elevated temperatures from an aqueous solution of K2SO4, Na2SO4, and Li2SO4⋅H2O. Polarized Raman spectra were measured at room temperature in various scattering geometries and symmetry‐based vibrational mode assignments are made. The existence of an apparent surface phase and a bulk phase is deduced from scattering measurements from different regions of the crystal and is discussed.
