Study of the voltage stability index considering transient process of the electromechanical in wind turbine

In this paper, aimed at real-time monitoring of wind turbine generator farm voltage stability, an index is researched based on data from PMU. Firstly, the mathematical model which considered the electromechanical transient process is established for voltage stability analysis of wind farm. Secondly, this paper research a voltage stability index based on PMU data which can real-time monitor the voltage stability margin and ensure the stabile operation of wind farm. Finally, the calculation results in simulation show that the voltage stability index is effective and available in real-time voltage stability monitoring of wind farm.
