Impedance Conversion Based Identification of Interharmonic Sources and Division of Responsibility

Nonlinear power electronic devices and other equipments can produce interharmonics, which are harmful to both power grid and power consumers.A method to identify interharmonic sources, which is based on the measurement and conversion of fundamental frequency impedance,is proposed,Meanwhile, taking the differences between voltage flicker levels at the point of common coupling(PCC) caused by interharmonics of different frequencies into account, the weight coefficients are led in to quantify the responsibilities of power system and consumers. Results of calculation example show that using the proposed method the main interharmonic sources can be identified accurately and the responsibility at system side and that at consumer side can be quantified.
