Development of portable measurement system for riding comfort of vehicles

Aimed at the demands of the road testing for the ride comfort of lightweight vehicles,for example motorcycles,the portable measurement system for riding comfort of vehicles is developed based on virtual instrument.The portable hardware system which can work independently and communicate with computer is developed by assembling the sensors,the amplifier and the data acquisition and designing the trigger.According to the evaluation method of human exposure to vibration,the analysis software for the evaluation of riding comfort is programmed from the time-domain and the frequency-domain.The application of the measurement system shows that the system is convenience and reliable,can be used to measure and evaluate the ride quality of vehicles.
