DEM 평판재하시험 모델을 이용한 토양 변형 해석

Elesto-plastic deformation of soils under driving wheels is generally investigated by plate-sinkage tests. A plate-sinkage model with a virtual soil bin based on discrete element method (DEM) is developed to estimate vertical forces of soil particles to a plate as the plate presses soil with a constant velocity. Effects of DEM model parameters, such as Young"s modulus, dynamic friction and rolling friction on the soil deformation are investigated by parametric studies. Soil characteristic parameters are obtained by statistical approaches due to the random nature of DEM simulations.
